We have included two case studies developed by the Ministry of Education, British Columbia, Canada attached as Appendix 5 to this resource. The case studies illustrate how Individual Learning Plans (called Individual Education Plans in British Columbia) can be developed to meet the needs of two very different students.
The case studies are part of the 2001 publication "Career/Life Transitions for Students with Diverse Needs: A resource Guide for Schools" developed by the Special Programs Branch, Ministry of Education, British Columbia. This publication is available to download (680 KB PDF document) at
