Planning for life after school is an exciting and challenging time. You will be exploring new opportunities, places and relationships.

There are many decisions that you will have to make about your future, including choices what to do with your free time, what kind of work you may want to pursue and what new skills you want and need to acquire.

These decisions can be challenging but planning ahead will help. This guide is to assist you to make informed decisions and plans for life after school. It is designed to be a working document with useful information and useful tips to support you and your family. The guide is presented in a folder so that you can add further information and keep your notes.

Future Pathways is provided to all ACT students with a disability in Years 9, 10, 11 and 12. The guide is also provided to student welfare teams, teachers, counsellors, careers advisors, apprenticeships coordinators and service providers.
