Emails and Electronic Forms

We will record your email address only if you send us a message. Your personal information will only be used for the purposes for which you have provided it. Your email address will not be added to a mailing list, unless you have provided it to us in order to subscribe to one of our subscription services such as the DCO e-Newsletter. Where you choose to send us a completed electronic form that includes your personal details, we do collect personally identifiable information, such as name, address and email address. The information collected by email or electronic forms will be used only for the purpose for which you provided it, and we will not disclose it without your consent, except where authorised or required by law.

How can you stop receiving email from us?

Each email newsletter sent contains an easy, automated way for you to cease receiving the newsletter from us, or to change your information. If you wish to do this, simply follow the instructions at the end of any email.

Confidentiality

Your information will be held in strictest confidence. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that information is not subject to loss, misuse or unauthorised access or alteration. We also take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify Personal Information if it is no longer required. We do not, however, provide facilities for the secure transmission of information across the Internet and you should be aware that there may be risks associated with the transmission of personal information via the Internet. Data Collected - Browsing (Clickstream data)

When you look at this website, the website server makes a record of your visit and logs the following information:

  • the user's server address
  • the user's top level domain name (for example .com, .gov, .org, .au etc)
  • the date and time of visit to the site
  • the pages accessed and documents viewed
  • the previous site visited
  • the type of browser used
