Showcasing Diversity: Evaluating Community Cultural Development Projects is a new resource kit outlining what it takes to document, evaluate, report and develop concepts of 'good practice' in community and cultural development. The kit is based on the Showcasing Diversity training program run by Vandana Ram, CCDNSW's Cultural Diversity Program Manager in 2005. The results have been collected in a kit including fact sheets and case studies. Kits can be used as a springboard to conduct further CCD projects and can be ordered or downloaded online.

Young Australian Rural Network (YARN) - create a website

Tuesday, 30 January 2007

YARN is specifically for people aged 18-35 involved in rural industries. Designed for, and run by, young people in rural industries, YARN provides a place where young people can:

  • communicate;
  • collaborate;
  • share ideas;
  • strengthen networks; and in doing so
  • strengthen the future of Australia’s rural industries.

YARN has a number of interactive features including a discussion forum, events calendar and listing of opportunities for young Australians in agriculture, fisheries and forestry industries.

It also has a site builder function, allowing you to create a website for your rural non-government organisation without needing to know anything about designing web pages. The template based tool allows you to create a professional looking site in minutes; you will even get your own website address that you can place on stationery and publications.

Visit the YARN website or for more information at: www.yarn.gov.au/cb_pages/sitebuilder.php
or contact YARN on(02) 6272 4265 or via email: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
